Reading for pleasure
St Mary Magdalene readers experience a lifetime of wonders.
Our new librarians have been busy launching our new clubs for this year. Library club runs Wednesday to Friday and there are different themes for each day:
Wednesday- M and N Wednesday (Magazines and Newspapers)
Thursday - Texts to tell you more
Friday- Fiction Friday and Time to Rhyme
These are our themes and topics for the rest of the autumn term.

Each week, the librarians will nominate two children for a reading award and these will be given out in celebration assembly - could it be you this week?

Easter book hunts
Blind Date with a Book
Here are many highlights of our annual event. Every child received a book wrapped up with a surprise message. Our librarians worked very hard to wrap these and think of the special clues. We hope you all enjoyed your surprise books!

National Poetry Day

We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating National Poetry Day. All classes explored and performed poems around the theme of environment for this year. Our librarians also ran two 'Time to rhyme' clubs this week as a special treat.
