These are our themes and topics for the rest of the autumn term.

We thoroughly enjoyed celebrating National Poetry Day on Thursday 6th October 2022. All classes explored and performed poems around the theme of environment for this year. Our librarians also ran two 'Time to rhyme' clubs this week as a special treat.
Nieve in Year 6 shared her own poem which she wrote at home and will be appearing in the next Young Writers magazine! Well done Nieve!

Reading news
After the sad passing of our Queen, we have spent time in our 'Weekly News' club looking at articles around recent and historic events. We have also been looking at news reports of how we have come together as a country in the days of mourning.
Both of these girls are enjoying reading the same book outside of school, having their own book club, sharing thoughts and writing reviews for other children.
