Here you will find lots of information about Year 4 and what we are busy doing in the classroom.
Important information about Year 4

Our PE sessions are on Thursdays and Fridays. Please come into school in your PE kit on these days and remember to remove all jewellery.
Reading books need to returned weekly, your child has been set a day each week to bring theirs back.
Homework will now be set half termly on Seesaw.

Autumn
This term we are learning about the Romans in History and Extreme weather in Geography.
Spring
This term we are learning about the Mayans in History and Rainforests in Geography.
Summer
This term we are learning about Slavery in History and North America in Geography.
Special Events
WC 30.01.23
This week we visited Cadbury World as we have been looking at Charlie and the Chocolate Factory during our English lessons. We also had a Mayan workshop where we learnt about the history of chocolate.

This week we visited the local library to take part in some activities and do some reading.
WC. 17.10.22
During Art week we had lots of fun creating wax templates for our sketches. We used tools to scratch off the black paint to reveal the different colours underneath.

This week we also had a visit from Severn Trent Water. We had an assembly about saving water and then completed an activity to see if we were water wasters or water savers.
