Diversity Week
We celebrated Diversity Week across school during the week beginning 18th March. During the week we explored our unique strengths and differences and encouraged the children to celebrate these. We learned that there are many role models in our society who are Neurodiverse (including Greta Thunberg, Will.I.am, Daniel Radcliffe, Jamie Oliver and Tom Holland.) We ended the week with World Down Syndrome Day and dressed in our best and brightest clothes and socks.
The children considered their own strengths and weaknesses and created these colourful door displays celebrating what makes us each unique. Every single person in the school has something they are very good at and something they find tricky!
